Bye Bye for now

The basement was always a scary place for any kid to go down into. Normally it was a game of wits, who could stay there the longest, in the dark. I'm afraid for the safety of our group. I'm worried that the once friendly and welcoming Blogging Basement could become dark and foreboding. I've closed it for now. As someone mentioned in the comments, it's probably the most untznius blog we have. If those-who-cannot-be-named (because we don't know their names yet, and also because they're pretty much on the dark side) were to find the blog, and take a look at the list of authors: guys and girls, oh my!....
So to help protect those that I care for, and to preserve the Crown Heights Underground of well-written literature, I've taken the blog down, temporarily. Hopefully soon, when this dark storm cloud passes and the sun's rays break through, we will once again be able to prove that Lubavitchers can too write good.

oh, it was you. I was wondering what happened to it.

can't you invite all the original authors back? That way we can continue to enjoy the safety of our basement without the big bad wolf breathing down our neck.

I am now thoroughly convinced that this is a joke. Whilst, to be sure it isn't lame, seeing as we are all (for the most part) are (did) fall(ing) for it, it is, however, absurdly unfunny.
It is quite elaborate, it is quite well executed, and is running well beyond it's expiry date (and still being taken seriously). However, being as such, that it is being taken seriously, yet the jokester continues (albeit, less carefully), it is not funny in the slightest.
A joke for a couple of hours? Ok. A day. Maybe. But not after that. Especially with direct and specific threats.
I, therefore, stand behind my previous recommendation of going to the police. If it is a joke, when the vaad hears that it suddenly going to be real, they will back off. And in the remotely possible scenario (which I do not believe to be the case) that it is real, they will face some very heavy (dissonant) music.
